çılbır 🥚🇹🇷 poached eggs are gently placed over whipped yogurt, topped with my favorite, aleppo pepper butter. you can add herbs of your choice to the labneh or leave it plain!
3-4 poached @vitalfarms eggs
1 cup @arzdairy yogurt or labneh
2 cloves garlic, minced
1/4 tsp kosher salt
3 tbsp aleppo butter
dill, mint or parsley to serve
bread to serve.
▫️whip garlic and yogurt together. allow to rest at room temperature until ready to plate.
▫️bring a pot of water to boil; reduce heat to low when ready to poach.
▫️optional but recommended: crack each egg into a fine mesh sieve to remove the extra liquidy whites (game changer). add 1 tbsp of white vinegar to the water and stir quickly in a circular motion to create a whirlpool.
▫️add in one egg at a time and allow to whites to set around the yolk.
▫️poach for 2-3 minutes and gently remove from the water.
▫️place garlic labneh on a flat plate and top with poached eggs.
▫️drizzle aleppo pepper butter and sprinkle herbs over top!
